Here I am..

Hi! I’m Alece. I refer to myself as a life architect. My first never ending project is myself:). I’m a wife, mom and a licensed clinical social worker navigating motherhood through a self-care lens. I’m passionate about black women and in particular black mothers having space to EXHALE. In 2015 I gave birth to our first child a feisty little girl. Since then I have given birth to a baby boy (2017) and in November of 2018 I gave birth to our third (and final) child, a little girl. I’m taking my own advice and doing more of what I love in the name of self care and sanity. For now that means I’m taking a hiatus from seeing clients (I was engaged in providing therapy to moms post partum). Instead I’m working on healing past trauma via psychotherapy, mastering this stay at home mom gig and speaking kindly to my mind and body. Thanks for tuning in and be sure to head over to the blog to get the lowdown on Self-care, wellness, life post partum and everything in between.
